Drugstore Makeup Favorites July 2017
My first post is going to be my drug store favorites from July!
Now that we are getting into August and i've had a good months run with these products, I feel like I can give a good review!
First, I have been loving Wet N Wild's PhotoFocus Foundation in golden beige. It's very affordable & has medium coverage but I have found that it can build to full. It is cruelty free, which I like, even though I don't base my purchase off of that.
The first time I bought it a few months ago, it smelled like paint thinner. This time, either I just haven't paid attention or they have fixed that problem. *I will leave a comment saying whether I can still smell it or not*
There's not much else to say about this besides it being a great product and if you've been looking for a new affordable foundation, I highly suggest this one.
Next, I picked up Maybelline's Master Conceal Camouflage Concealer in the shade light.
I have enjoyed using this product even thought I was on the edge about purchasing.
Some of the reviews I read were about the concealer settling into lines and making pores stand out. I personally didn't run into those problems.
Like with any concealer I buy, I got it a shade or so lighter than my skin tone because I enjoy the lighter "brightening" look of it.
It performs like I want it to, therefore I am a fan.
I have also been enjoying- Maybelline- "The Nudes" palette.
I love this! The colors are pigmented, yes, I do experience a little fallout when picking them up but really, what eyeshadow as NO traces of dust what so ever?
Once I laid the shades on my eyes there was very little fallout and nothing to hate it over.
The black is amazing- I had previously used it in my friends palette and had to buy it for myself- I use black daily so I am always on the lookout for a good dark matte.
I will be repurchasing this because I've even been using the browns and golds which is a rare happening for me.
Last, I purchased L'Oreal Infallible Pro Last Lipstick.
--Try it. Love it. There isn't much else to say.
Seriously, I put this to the extreme test to see if it really was transfer, kiss, drink, eat, life proof. OMG. YES.
I applied it around 6 pm, did all of the above while wearing it, slept in it and woke up. It was still there. I will forever live and die by this lipstick.
I have seen some terrible reviews about this but when i tried it out for myself i really was amazed. I can't remember the name of the color I purchased, but it is the color I linked above.
